Our Values

Accessibility

Because in an open world, there is no need for barriers.

Games are a beautiful thing. They fill our free time, help us connect with friends, and provide a nice break from reality. Just like a good film or TV show. The problem is that while movies and TV shows often have accessibility features, many games and things around them don’t. We want to change that in our own bubble by providing accessibility options to break down certain barriers and open up every gaming experience to everyone.

To achieve this, we’re working on creating our own content (guides, addons and general support) and have started our own teams in various games to provide a safe space for anyone who shares our values.

Teamwork

Because we’ll grow faster if we do it together.

It’s no secret that some people are better at games than others, but instead of pulling these different skill levels apart, we want to bring them closer together. That way people can learn from each other, bring new perspectives to things in the game, and improve as a community. This requires a non-toxic feedback environment where people are encouraged not only to give constructive feedback, but also to receive it without a hostile reaction.

We’re careful to select only people with the right mindset and personality to be part of such a feedback culture as coaches and players for our teams. In this way, we are able to create the right environment as we work together to achieve our goals.

Responsibility

Because we can’t improve unless we’re held accountable.

There are many forms of responsibility and we strive to be accountable to most, if not all, of them. We choose partners, players, and projects with our values in mind and refuse to work with anyone who does not fit in. Does that make us better or them worse? No. It’s not an “us or them” situation, but we can’t provide a safe environment without being strict about it.

We run this project with an open feedback culture, so if you feel that we can improve at any point, or that we have got something wrong, please feel free to let us know. We’ll do our best to constantly improve ourselves and this project.
